  • Potatoes 400g
  • 3 tablespoons cottage cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tablespoons Corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon Green onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder


  1. Grate 400g of Potatoes into a bowl.
  2. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean cloth or paper towels.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of Cottage Cheese to the grated potatoes and mix well.
  4. Crack and add 1 Egg to the mixture, and stir until combined.
  5. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of Corn Flour over the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of chopped Green Onion to the mixture for added flavor.
  7. Season the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of Salt, 1/3 teaspoon of Pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of Chili Powder. Mix well.
  8. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a bit of cooking oil.
  9. Scoop portions of the potato mixture onto the skillet, shaping them into flat patties.
  10. Cook the hash browns for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  11. Once cooked, transfer the hash browns to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
