Guide

  1. Slice the watermelon into smaller cubes.
  2. Taste the watermelon to check its sweetness.
  3. If the watermelon is not sweet enough, add a little bit of sugar.
  4. Blend the watermelon with 2-3 cups of water until smooth.
  5. Strain the blended watermelon to remove the pulp, if desired.
  6. Add a little bit of lime juice to the strained watermelon juice.
  7. Pour the agua fresca into a pitcher.
  8. Add fresh mint leaves to the pitcher if you like.
  9. Add ice to the serving glasses.
  10. Add cubed watermelon to the serving glasses.
  11. For a mocktail, dip the rim of a glass in San Luis sauce and sprinkle Tajin on the rim.
  12. Add ice to the mocktail glass.
  13. Chop tamarind Mexican candy into small bits and add to the mocktail glass.
  14. Add mint leaves to the mocktail glass.
  15. Pour the agua fresca into the mocktail glass.
  16. Garnish the drinks with a wedge of lime.
  17. Store any remaining agua fresca in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
